FOLA – 9 (Album)

Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter FOLA returns with his second studio album, 9, arriving in 2026 as the follow-up to his acclaimed 2025 debut project, Catharsis.

Built around FOLA’s football-inspired identity, 9 introduces a new chapter in the singer’s musical journey. The title reflects his connection to football culture while giving the project a distinct identity as he continues to establish himself in Nigeria’s competitive Afrobeats scene.

Following the reception of Catharsis, the new album represents another step in FOLA’s artistic development. With his melodic approach and contemporary Afrobeats sound, the singer continues to build on the foundation established by his debut while presenting listeners with a fresh body of work.

The release of 9 further strengthens FOLA’s growing catalogue and offers fans another opportunity to connect with his evolving sound and creative vision.
